A Modern Classic, the Great Eastern Hotel was born out of the golden age of railway travel in 1884 and re-opened it's doors in February 2000.
The legacy is a building of great charm, and is located between the heart of London's financial district and the artistic neighborhood of the 'Hoxton Triangle' with easy access to the west end's shopping, theaters and attractions.
The 267 guest rooms at the Great Eastern Hotel have been decorated in a contemporary minimalist style by Conran and Partners. The local influences of culture and commerce can be seen in the interiors: city suiting fabrics used on the upholestry, dark wood paneling, a rich palette of colors and steel wall cabinets.
All the Great Eastern's six restaurants and bars have street access to Liverpool Street or Bishopsgate, where guests mingle with financial workers from The City business district and creative types from the East End. These include Aurora restaurant, with its restored Victorian stained-glass domed roof, as well as a seafood restaurant, champagne bar, brasserie, a classic British dining room and a Japanese restaurant.
The health club is fitted out with modern exercise equipment and offers massage, manicure, hot stone treatments, yoga classes and a personal trainer.
