Financier Benjamin Fry has teamed up with London host Orlando Campbell and project director and designer Giles Baker to create a 'new hotel experience' in the heart of London's fashionable and now most famous village - Notting Hill.
The 20-room Westbourne Hotel aims to turn the traditional 'bed and breakfast' on its head.
The design is inspired by Frank Lloyd-Wright, Mies Van der Rohe and the classic late-60's inside-outside movement. It is mid century modern, with a Japanese influence.
Giles Baker has worked closely with CA1, the British Design and Manufacturing Company, on the scheme. CA1 has also produced an exclusive range of bespoke furniture, unique to the hotel.
